I am a performing artist with a passion for storytelling and expressive thinking. I enjoy, above all, the pursuit of growing and learning about myself as a young adult, artist, and friend. I strive to honor the many parts of myself that make me who I am. Classes, performances, and coachings have helped me discover a more courageous, confident, and free version of myself that I may not have discovered otherwise. I initially found much joy in the collaborative nature of theater. The idea of " a whole being greater than the sum of its parts," is something that I carry throughout various parts of my life, particularly theater. This relationship between myself and the people around me has strengthened my identity and passion for storytelling. Time spent not on stage or screen, I am working towards a happier and healthier me.

Graduating with my BFA in acting from the University of Connecticut, has prepared me for the next steps in my career. I am interested to see what further learning I have to do now post-graduation. During my time at UConn I played Sarah Weddington in Roe, Rona in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Dr. Professor Eurika Zurika in War of the Worlds 2024, Town Ensemble in Seven Spots on the Sun, Lover A Memories in Shadow, and Persephone in Polaroid Stories. UConn provided me with other additional opportunities like working on a film titled Boyish Charms, a puppetry film focused on the importance of mindful masculinity. I would take part in student-devised work like Memories in Shadow, an entirely movement-based performance about young love between two women and their struggles with substance abuse. I also had the opportunity to explore acting in front of projected animation. Collaborating with digital animators to create a story was a unique and innovative experience.

I grew up in Mansfield Connecticut right next to Connecticut Repertory Theatre. During the summer months, I performed on stage with CRT during their Summer Nutmeg Series, where I performed as Young Cosette in Les Miserables (with Terrence Mann and Ariana Debose), Baby June in Gypsy (with Leslie Uggams and David N Williams), and ensemble in Music Man. Getting to perform alongside great theater professionals as a child ignited my fascination with performing arts. High school came with hours of choir practice, dance lessons, gymnastics competitions, and drama club. I was a member of the JOY (Jorgenson Outreach for Youth) program where I got to train with Uconn opera professors under the JOY scholarship. They helped establish a classical background in my vocal performance that I feel greatly influenced the voice that I have as a performer today. During the summer of my junior year of high school, I attended "Triple Arts," a musical theatre intensive out of Western Carolina University established by Terrence Mann and Charlotte D'Amboise. Other notable faculty include Mary Ann Lamb, Liz Larson, Ken Clifton, Kelly Crandall-D'Amboise, and Christopher D'Amboise. Four years later during my Junior year at UConn, I spent a semester abroad at the Theatre Academy London. This classical intensive provided me with the technique and confidence to perform in classical works. Shakespeare had always been a source of intimidation. Now, I am frequently searching for opportunities that have me working with Shakespeare once more. These unique experiences have become a great part of who I am as an artist.
